Map Keywords to URLs
Assign one primary keyword to each target page.
Why this matters
One keyword per page stops your own pages from competing with each other (called cannibalization). It also makes every later choice obvious.
✓ How to do it
- Create a column mapping each priority keyword to a single URL.
- If two keywords are almost the same, put them on one page.
- Flag keywords with no matching page. Those become new pages.
- This sheet drives the whole On-Page phase.
Done whenEvery priority keyword maps to exactly one URL, and keywords with no page are flagged.

From the field. New York Intelligence Agency, New York City
For New York Intelligence Agency every page has one job. A case type (matrimonial, corporate, surveillance, background checks, missing persons) is paired with one place. That gave us 600+ pages across the 5 boroughs, Long Island and Westchester, and each page targets its own search.
