Find pages Google won't index

GSC's Pages report shows which URLs are indexed and which are excluded, with the reason for each.

Why this matters
A page Google won't index can never rank. Finding and fixing exclusions is often the cheapest, fastest win available.

โœ“ How to do it

  1. Open GSC โ†’ Indexing โ†’ Pages.
  2. Review the 'Not indexed' reasons (crawled-not-indexed, duplicate, noindex, etc.).
  3. List any important pages that are excluded and the reason given.
  4. Fix the cause (remove a stray noindex, add internal links, improve thin content) then use URL Inspection โ†’ Request indexing.
Tips & pitfalls
  • 'Crawled - currently not indexed' usually means Google judged the page low-value โ€” that's a content-quality signal, not a bug.
