Use AI Helpers With Gates
An AI helper can draft, sort and summarize fast. It can also be wrong with total confidence. A gate is a rule that stops its work from going out until a person checks it.

Why This Matters
The worst mistake is letting a helper send or spend on its own. One wrong text goes to a hundred people, and one wrong purchase cannot be taken back. Let the helper do the thinking and keep the clicking for a person.
✓ How To Do It
- List what you want help with. Good fits are first drafts, sorting a pile of notes, and checking a page against a list of rules.
- Write what the helper may never do. At minimum, it may not send a message, spend money, delete anything or change a live site without a person saying yes.
- Give the helper the facts it needs and say to use only those. If a fact is not in the notes, it must say so, not guess.
- Ask it to show its evidence. Every number or claim should come with the page or file it came from.
- Check each fact yourself against the source before you use it. Open the link. Read the line.
- Add a gate before every send. A person reads the final message, checks the recipient list and clicks send.
- Add a gate before every spend. A person sees the price and approves it in writing.
- Keep a short log of what the helper did, what a person approved and what got changed.
- Test the helper on a few cases where you already know the answer. If it fails, tighten the rules.
- Review its mistakes monthly. Add a rule for each one.

Tips & Pitfalls
- Google says no special work is needed to show up in its AI features. Write for people, and your pages are already in the running.
- Never paste private data like customer phone numbers or logins into a helper without checking its data rules.
- A fast draft is not a finished page. Read it out loud and cut what is vague.
