Speed and Core Web Vitals are confirmed ranking factors and directly affect how many visitors stay. You need a baseline to prove improvement later.

✓ How to do it

Go to pagespeed.web.dev and test your homepage, top service page, and a key blog post.
Record the mobile scores (mobile matters most for ranking).
Note the three Core Web Vitals: LCP (load), CLS (layout shift), INP (responsiveness).
Save the 'Opportunities' list — it's your speed to-do list for the Technical phase.
